Indiana is at a crossroads. Our state, its leaders and its elected officials have a clear choice in the coming years. Are we a state that values intolerance, exclusion and discrimination?  OR are we a state that values diversity, inclusion and equality for all of its citizens? I believe we are the latter and I know that with your help we can prove that once and for all!

The initial passage of HJR-6 during this year’s legislative session has put our state on course to move us backward. We believe we can and need to help move Indiana forward. As part of our efforts to continue to reach out to our supporters and friends across the state, I am proud to announce the launch of our Membership Program, and invite you to officially join with us in our campaign for equality today!

For the past eight years, Indiana Equality has relied on donations to fund our efforts to make Indiana a better place to live, work and raise a family for ALL Hoosiers.  With the prospect of having to wage a statewide campaign and in an effort to bolster our outreach efforts, we are offering our supporters another way to help us achieve equality by becoming a member.

By becoming a member of Indiana Equality, you will help provide the necessary resources to help us build a true statewide grassroots campaign for equality. You will also demonstrate your support for equal rights and Indiana Equality.

As a member, you will receive a Membership Card as a personal reminder of the issues facing the LGBT community and the work you are helping to support. You will also receive a static sticker to show others that you stand for equal rights and are proud to support Indiana Equality.

Funds raised through our Membership Program will help offset our operating costs, including our email system that helps us communicate with our supporters about relevant news, events, updates and action alerts. Funds will also help us continue our outreach efforts across the state to fully educate and engage the LGBT community, coalition partners, civic, religious and business leaders, and our straight allies.
